We visited the Khao Yai National Park, where we hiked through the wilderness, had a chance to see snakes and iguanas, hear monkeys call us, and lastly sweat way too much for us to handle. It was also so muddy, so we had some amazing slip 'n slide moments!

On our way from the Khao Yai National Park to the Fah Fang Resort. We saw a little bit of everything-- some urban areas, some rural areas and some beautiful mountains of Thailand's northeast.

The Fah Fang Resort where we stayed from 8/17-8/21. It was absolutely beautiful! We were housed with approximately 8-11 students per house, where some people shared beds together or slept on mats on the floor. The last picture is the sample of the mats I slept on and two crazy ladies I housed with.

Day Two: I was sad to leave Bangkok, but only to find out that other parts of Thailand have more adventures for me to experience. Leeches, lizzards and long snakes have made the Khao Yai National Park unforgettable. The five hour ride between Bangkok and Fah Fang Resort have made me realize that I can forget that I have "motion sickness" by simply entertaining myself and others. Lastly, arriving at Fah Fang Resort allowed me to see another (and perhaps more beautiful) side of Thailand and allowed me to become close to the students studying abroad together with me.
